The tools behind it

Less time chasing dates and paperwork

Reminders, checklists and organized records help your office keep the work moving.

  • Alerts

    Expiration radar

Medical certificates, licences and annual reviews, every date on one dashboard, with warnings long before anything lapses.

  • Checklist

    Driver file checklist

Every driver scored against the documents their file must hold, with anything missing named.

  • Export

    One-click audit binder

Any driver's full file as one organised document, ready to hand to a reviewer.

  • Inspections

    Daily checks on a phone

Drivers sign off a walkaround from the yard, offline if the signal is gone, with photos attached.

  • Repairs

    Defects that stay open

A fault stays on the truck until it is repaired and signed off, so it cannot disappear between shifts.

  • Storage

    Secure document vault

Scans and records organised by driver and by unit, encrypted, reachable from any browser by the people you allow.

  • Setup

    Bring your roster over

Drivers and trucks from a spreadsheet instead of typing them in. You see exactly what will be added before anything is saved.

  • Reviews

    A login for your auditor

Give a reviewer or insurer read-only access that stops working on the date you set. They see the records, change nothing.

  • In the yard

Scan the truck, start the check

Print a label for each truck. A driver scans it and lands straight in that truck's walkaround, no picking from a list.

Questions

Answered before you ask

Do I have to go electronic?

No. Paper records are still perfectly legal. The reason carriers move is evidence. A paper file proves what is in the folder today, and an electronic one proves what was there, when, and who signed it.

Which documents does Ledger Road track?

Everything a driver qualification file needs: employment application, CDL copy, medical examiner's certificate, initial and annual MVRs, annual review of the driving record, road test certificate, previous-employer checks, and Clearinghouse queries. You can also add your own document types, for training certificates or anything else with a date, and those are counted separately from the required file.

How long does setup take?

An afternoon for most fleets. Put the renewal dates in first, since that is what drives the alerts, then upload documents as you get to them. You do not need everything scanned before it starts being useful.

How much does it cost?

$199 a month for up to 15 trucks, $399 for up to 40. Trailers and dollies are never counted. No setup fee, no contract, and you can cancel whenever you like.

Do I own my data?

Yes, and you can take it whenever you want, including after you cancel. There is no export fee and no notice period. We are not going to hold a compliance file hostage.
